Take her words at face value and believe that she was just being honest and upfront that she was interested in another guy, and make plans for a date with her. She may realize that she enjoys spending time with you a lot more than that other guy. And, if she actually just does want to be your friend, let her make that clear to you. Until then, if you like her, and think she likes you, pursue a relationship with her!

Disclaimer: I had none of this confidence when I was your age, but I’d lucked into a relationship with the woman who would become my wife by then. I do understand women much better now than I did then, however, and think the above is solid advice.

The E46 is gone. Rest have stayed. I got a used Cayenne S too. Needed something with good ride quality, big back seats, and a traditional automatic for occasional use at work and in traffic. But omg I’m so bored of it after less than a year. SUVs get boring!

Haha a Lexus would be too practical for me. I have a knack for only driving cars that are expensive to maintain and repair.

I’m going to keep it for now but who knows.

I can’t decide whether to sell or trade it in on something or keep it and mod it. Maybe it would be more fun if I got some exhaust. It’s the last of the N/A V8 so it could sound really good with the right exhaust. The stock exhaust on the Cayenne S wasn’t good like the Cayenne GTS.

Also maybe a wrap would be cool. Like a dark matte grey. It’s just black on black and that’s common as fuck.

Hmmm... I wouldn’t mod it in an effort to convince yourself to keep it. If you don’t really like the car, a $2k exhaust system isn’t really going to change much (I will admit, the GTS exhaust sounds really good). I’m kind of in the same boat with the Lexus. Its a good car and will easily outlive me before it ever breaks down, but its kind of boring and I want to save up to get something else. A wrap would definitely make your car different from the stay at home moms and drug dealers that drive black on black Cayennes though.

It’s weird. It’s not that I don’t like it, I do. I just don’t like driving it a ton. It’s fast and practical and sounds good under WOT (and would sound even better with good exhaust). I just prefer sports cars.

But it *is* nice to have it for days when I’m exhausted and need to go somewhere in traffic.

Haha yes, it would look less like a soccer mom or drug dealer car with a wrap.

Do you have the parking space to keep the Lexus and get an impractical car?

That wrap looks way better than I thought it would. Now that I think about it, the wrap + the GTS exhaust would make a pretty good DD. Sadly, I don’t really have the $ or space for a fun car without selling the Lexus. I’ll hopefully be able to get something like an S2k once I’m done with college. That will take a few years though. :(

Glad you like it. It sounds like a crazy idea but when I saw the pics and heard a GTS drive by I thought it might be cool. The motor has so much potential for good sound, the stock exhaust just sucks!

Don’t worry you’re have more $$$ later. Once you graduate and get a job you can get too many car loans like me, haha

It’s a lot of interest to pay but who cares?

When you reduce the monthly payment amount it lets you get 2 cars for the monthly payment of one :D

Also if you make more monies later you can pay the loan off early as long as there is no pre payment penalty.

I swear if anyone offered a 30 year car loan I’d get one! That way I could afford to add a 918, La Ferrari, F40 or 288 GTO.
